Hearing Specialists and Hearing Aids in Little Rock, AR

Our Little Rock office is on Chenal Parkway in west Little Rock. We see patients from across Pulaski, Saline, and Garland counties. Whether you live in west Little Rock, Maumelle, Sherwood, North Little Rock, Benton, or Bryant, or you are driving in from Hot Springs or Conway, our office is set up to make your visit easy.

The Chenal area has grown a lot in recent years, and the need for high-quality healthcare has grown with it. We built our office to meet that need. We are not a retail hearing aid store. We are a clinical practice. That means we evaluate your hearing, build a treatment plan around your specific needs, fit your devices, and stay involved in your care for the long run.

Every patient at our Little Rock office is seen by a hearing specialist trained in the protocols of Dr. Keith Darrow. Dr. Darrow is a neuroscientist who earned his Ph.D. from a joint Harvard Medical School and MIT program focused on hearing and the brain. His research helped shape the way we treat hearing loss and tinnitus today, and those same protocols guide every visit at our Little Rock office.

We offer full hearing evaluations, tinnitus assessments, prescription hearing aid fittings, and ongoing care. Whether you are just noticing changes in your hearing, struggling at restaurants and family gatherings, or dealing with constant ringing in your ears, we can help.

Every treatment plan comes with affordable monthly payment options, 0% financing, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. No patient is turned away because of cost.

Hearing Care Services in Little Rock

Hearing loss treatment

If you find yourself asking people to repeat themselves, struggling to hear in restaurants, or having a hard time following family conversations, you may be dealing with hearing loss. Our Little Rock team runs a full hearing evaluation to find out exactly what is going on and builds a treatment plan around your daily life.

Tinnitus treatment

A constant ringing, buzzing, or humming in your ears can wear you down. It can hurt your sleep, your focus, and your quality of life. We use a science-based approach to evaluate your tinnitus, find what is causing it, and build a plan to reduce its impact over time.

Hearing aids in Little Rock

When hearing aids are part of your treatment plan, our Little Rock specialists fit you with prescription devices that are programmed to match your specific hearing loss. We do not sell hearing aids off a shelf. We prescribe them based on your test results and program them for the situations that matter most to you. The follow-up care is included, something most retail providers do not offer.

Invisible hearing aids

Our invisible hearing aids sit deep in the ear canal. They are custom-molded for comfort and you cannot see them when they are in. For Little Rock patients who do not want a visible device, this is often the right place to start.

Frequently asked Questions

Is your office on the west side of Little Rock or downtown?

Our office is on Chenal Parkway in west Little Rock, the area west of I-430 known as Chenal Valley. We are not part of any downtown clinic or hospital system. Most of our patients live in west Little Rock or Maumelle. Others come up from Bryant, Benton, or Hot Springs by way of I-30 and I-630.

What is the difference between a hearing specialist and an audiologist?

An audiologist holds a doctoral degree and works on a wide range of hearing and balance issues. A hearing specialist is licensed to test hearing and fit hearing aids, and many work under the direction of a clinical team or supervising audiologist. Our Little Rock office is staffed by hearing specialists trained in Dr. Darrow’s protocols. For patients who need full medical-level diagnostics, we are happy to refer you out as needed. For most hearing aid and tinnitus care, our team can handle your treatment from start to finish.

How is HBCA different from a retail hearing aid center?

Retail hearing centers are mainly built around selling devices. Follow-up care, programming changes, and ongoing support are usually charged separately or limited. At HBCA, your monthly treatment plan covers all of that, adjustments, cleanings, reprogramming, and support, for as long as you are a patient. We are a clinical practice, not a retail store.

Will my hearing aids work for hunting, fishing, or yard work?

Yes. Modern prescription hearing aids hold up well in outdoor environments. Most current devices are built to handle humidity, sweat, and small amounts of water. For patients who hunt, your devices can be programmed to protect your hearing during shooting while keeping speech clear afterward. Bring up your favorite outdoor activities at your fitting and we will program around them.

Do you accept Medicare or Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield?

We work with most major insurance plans, including Arkansas BCBS and Medicare Advantage plans. Standard Medicare usually does not cover routine hearing aids, but many Medicare Advantage plans do. Coverage depends on your specific plan, so call our office before your appointment and we will check your benefits for you.

Do you offer free hearing screenings or evaluations?

We often run promotional offers for new patients that include a free baseline hearing screening. Call our Little Rock office to find out what is currently available. Even outside of those offers, we keep our evaluations affordable, especially for patients new to hearing care.

Nearby Communities We Serve

Our Little Rock office serves patients from across Central Arkansas, including Little Rock, west Little Rock, Maumelle, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville, Cabot, Benton, Bryant, Bauxite, Alexander, Mabelvale, Roland, Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, Conway, and the surrounding communities throughout Pulaski, Saline, and Garland counties.
