Dr. Keith Darrow is an internationally recognized Harvard Medical School & MIT trained neuroscientist, clinical audiologist, researcher, author, and educator who has dedicated his career to understanding how hearing loss and tinnitus affects the brain, and how treating hearing loss can help people stay connected, independent, and reduce their risk of cognitive decline and dementia.
Dr. Darrow spent nearly a decade conducting research at Massachusetts Eye and Ear and Harvard Medical School hospitals before bringing that science directly into patient care. Today, he serves as Director of Treatment for Hearing & Brain Centers of America, leading the clinical protocols and standards of care across the organization while helping thousands of patients receive comprehensive, evidence-based treatment.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Darrow is a tenured professor, an international speaker, founder of Excellence in Audiology, a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and a National Certified Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia Care Trainer. His scientific research on hearing loss, tinnitus, cognition, and healthy aging has been cited more than 1400 times by researchers worldwide.
