Meet Renee Campbell, HIS
Renee Campbell, HIS, is a Hearing Instrument Specialist at Hearing and Brain Centers of America in Austin, TX. She earned a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and spent years treating adults with dementia, stroke, and other neurological conditions before following the science on the ear-brain connection into hearing healthcare. Today she focuses on prevention, because treating hearing loss is one of the most powerful ways to reduce the risk of dementia and serious falls.
Renee wants every patient to leave understanding that hearing care is brain care. She partners with patients over the long term to manage hearing loss and tinnitus, with the goal of protecting cognition, reducing fall risk, and supporting a fulfilling, independent life as they age. She collaborates closely with physicians, neurologists, ENTs, psychologists, and other therapists so patients receive coordinated, whole-person care rather than fragmented advice. Having recently completed the coursework to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner, she is also passionate about community education, hosting a booth at Founder’s Day in Dripping Springs to share free books and discuss the link between hearing loss, dementia, and falls, and holding an open house at the clinic for neighborhood hearing screenings and tinnitus education.
